Intelligent Automatic Welding Manipulator with Stable Running, High Precision for Longitudinal & Circumferential Seam Welding

The column and boom are fabricated with thick high-strength rectangular steel profiles and fully welded into an integrated structure. After high-temperature stress relief annealing, all internal structural tension is eliminated. Precision CNC machining ensures perfect flatness, verticality, and overall rigidity. The rigid frame effectively resists vibration, bending, and deformation during long-hour continuous operation, maintaining extremely stable torch positioning accuracy throughout the welding process.

The horizontal boom adopts an anti-torsion reinforced structure with high-precision linear guide rails and low-friction sliding components. The full 2000mm working stroke enables wide horizontal coverage for long straight seams and large-diameter circular seams. Boom movement is ultra-smooth, steady, and jitter-free. Constant-speed mechanical travel ensures uniform heat input, avoiding welding ripples, uneven bead width, and thermal deformation.

The vertical lifting system uses an industrial worm gear reducer and synchronous chain drive mechanism. It provides 2000mm adjustable lifting height to adapt to different workpiece sizes, roller heights, and multi-layer welding requirements. The lifting system features an anti-slip self-locking function, ensuring no falling, shaking, or tilting during operation. It maintains consistent welding height and stable arc distance for high-quality multi-pass welding.

The heavy-duty base supports full 360° manual rotation of the entire column-boom assembly. Operators can freely adjust welding angles and working directions without moving heavy tanks or pipes. This flexible rotary design allows one machine to serve multiple working stations, greatly improving workshop space utilization and production efficiency. Electric automatic rotation is available as an optional upgrade for advanced automated production lines.

Both horizontal travel and vertical lifting adopt stepless speed regulation technology. The speed range can be precisely adjusted according to workpiece thickness, welding process, and production requirements. Slow speed ensures fine and precise welding quality, while fast idle speed reduces non-working time. Stable mechanical speed completely eliminates human-caused speed fluctuation and welding defects.

The welding torch holder supports full-range fine adjustment in six directions — up, down, left, right, forward, and backward — plus 360° angle rotation. Operators can accurately calibrate arc length, torch angle, and seam offset to perfectly fit different weld grooves and material thicknesses. This flexible adjustment ensures accurate seam tracking and highly consistent welding quality during mass production.

All welding cables, control lines, signal wires, and gas pipelines are neatly arranged inside wear-resistant engineering plastic energy chains. This enclosed structure protects all internal lines from repeated stretching, friction, and aging, significantly improving equipment safety, stability, and overall service life while reducing daily maintenance work.
