Automatic Welding Manipulator, Intelligent Control, High Precision & Stable Performance for Pipe, Tank and Vessel Welding

The vertical column and horizontal boom adopt a thick steel plate box-welded structure. After welding fabrication, the whole frame undergoes high-temperature stress relief annealing treatment to remove internal residual stress. Key fitting surfaces are precision machined to guarantee straightness and rigidity. The frame resists bending and vibration during long continuous working hours, laying a solid foundation for high-precision torch positioning.

The horizontal boom is equipped with heavy-duty linear guide rails and sliding blocks. Driven by reducer and chain transmission, the boom runs smoothly with stepless adjustable speed. It provides stable constant-speed movement for long straight seam welding, avoiding weld ripples, uneven bead width and heat input fluctuation. The energy chain cable carrier protects welding hoses, power cables and signal lines from repeated bending and friction, extending service life and lowering unexpected breakdowns.

The lifting system uses synchronous chain drive with an industrial worm gear reducer. It supports stable lifting and lowering of the boom assembly, adapting to different roller frame heights, workpiece diameters and multi-layer multi-pass welding height requirements. The lifting movement is steady without slipping, shaking or jamming, keeping a consistent arc distance during the whole welding cycle.

The heavy-duty slewing base enables the whole column and boom unit to rotate freely. Operators can swing the welding head away to load and unload large workpieces conveniently, and reposition the torch to different welding stations. It improves workshop layout flexibility. Motorized electric slewing is available as an optional upgrade.

The torch holder supports fine adjustment in X, Y and Z axes plus angular rotation. Operators can accurately adjust arc length, torch offset and inclination angle according to plate thickness, groove form and welding procedure specification. An optional servo seam tracking module can be added to automatically follow weld seams and compensate for positioning deviation.

This machine is configured with an independent control cabinet for centralized parameter setting. Combined with a handheld remote controller, operators can adjust travel speed, lifting position, and start and stop welding conveniently. The control interface is intuitive and user-friendly. Workers can master basic operation quickly without long-term professional training.
