Compact Column & Boom Welding Manipulator | 2m Horizontal Travel, 2m Lifting Stroke, Rotatable Base for Tank & Pipe Welding

The column and boom use a thickened rectangular national-standard steel pipe integral welded structure. After secondary high-temperature stress-relief annealing and four-sided precision CNC gantry milling, internal welding stress is completely eliminated. The machine offers high rigidity, strong compression resistance and no deformation after long-term high-frequency operation, ensuring verticality and horizontal precision during welding and effectively preventing weld deviation caused by frame shaking.

The horizontal boom is reinforced with an anti-torsion structural design and adopts a high-precision rolling linear guide rail and sliding block transmission. The effective working stroke reaches 2000mm, covering most medium-sized tanks and barrel workpieces on the market. The stretching process is smooth, quiet and jitter-free, ensuring an ultra-stable travel track for the welding torch.

The vertical lifting effective stroke is up to 2000mm with a wide height adjustment range, adapting to different roller frame heights, workpiece diameters and welding height requirements. The lifting drive uses an industrial reducer plus chain synchronous drive for stable power output — no stalling, no sliding down — ensuring consistent welding height during long-time continuous welding.

The base is a thickened cast steel structure, solid and load-bearing, supporting manual 360° free rotation of the entire column and boom body. Workers can rotate the equipment angle freely according to workpiece position without moving heavy tanks, greatly improving workshop flexibility, saving handling time and solving limited workshop space issues. Electric automatic rotation is optional for high-end automated production lines.

Both horizontal movement and vertical lifting use infinitely variable speed regulation technology. The speed range is precise and adjustable — slow for fine welding, fast for empty stroke. Running speed is uniform without pulse fluctuation, effectively solving common welding defects such as welding ripple, uneven weld bead, burn-through and incomplete penetration.

The torch adjusting device supports up, down, left, right, forward and backward linear adjustment plus 360° angle rotation. In production, workers can accurately calibrate arc distance, welding gap and torch angle according to material thickness and welding process requirements, ensuring a zero-error fit between welding torch and weld seam.

All welding cables, control lines, signal lines and air pipelines are installed in high-toughness engineering plastic energy chains. This completely avoids wire pulling, friction damage, aging exposure and pipeline detachment during reciprocating movement, greatly improving equipment safety, stability and service life.
