I. Equipment Overview

The five-in-one model equipped with a laser welding machine is an upgraded multi-functional fiber laser equipment. Based on the traditional four-in-one functions (welding, cutting, rust removal, and weld seam cleaning), it adds the pulse energy storage precision welding function. One device can achieve five processing modes, divided into a 220V air-cooled portable model and a 380V water-cooled industrial model. The mainstream power ratings are 1500W/2000W/3000W. It is equipped with a swinging welding gun, an automatic wire feeder, and a 7-inch touch screen. It is suitable for processing scenarios in various fields such as hardware sheet metal, doors and windows, new energy batteries, and equipment maintenance.

II. Five Core Functions (Different from the Four-in-One Core Upgrade Points)
  1. 1. Conventional continuous laser welding (basic function)

    With the wire feeder, it can perform fish-scale welding, butt welding, corner welding, and lap welding. It is applicable to stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum alloy, and galvanized sheet. The air-cooled model can stabilize welding of 0.3–3mm thin plates. The water-cooled model with 3000W can weld 5–8mm medium-thick plates. The thermal deformation is minimal, and the welding efficiency is 3–5 times that of argon arc welding.

  2. 2. Thin plate laser cutting

    Replace the cutting nozzle with one click to cut various metal plates and pipes. The cut edges are smooth without burrs, replacing the plasma cutting machine and eliminating the grinding process.

  3. 3. Global laser rust removal and cleaning

    Non-contact removal of rust, oxide scale, oil stains, old paint, and coatings. No consumables, no damage to the base material. Suitable for refurbishing workpieces and pre-treatment before welding.

  4. 4. Weld seam polishing and cleaning

    Remove the black oxide layer and splatter residue on the weld seam. After welding, it can be directly brightened, significantly reducing the workload of angle grinder grinding.

  5. 5. Pulse energy storage precision welding (unique core function of the five-in-one)

    The biggest upgrade feature of the equipment. By switching to a dedicated welding nozzle and program, it can be used:

    • New energy lithium batteries, nickel sheets for energy storage batteries, copper and aluminum tab welding for stacking, low thermal shock without breakdown of cells;
    • Thin plate seamless welding, spot welding of sheet metal reinforcement ribs, no indentation or color change on the backside of the welding;
    • Small tubes of heat exchangers, precision hardware, thin copper parts, micro spot welding of high-reflective aluminum materials, high precision, almost no deformation.
III. Core Differences Between Air-Cooled Models and Water-Cooled Models
1. 220V air-cooled five-in-one (portable)
  • Power Supply: 220V single-phase household electricity, suitable for both outdoor and store use;
  • Cooling: Built-in fan for cooling, no waterways, no need for antifreeze, only regular cleaning of the filter is required;
  • Weight: 28–40kg, with wheels and handles for easy lifting, suitable for single-person transportation, suitable for on-site installation and sporadic repairs;
  • Limitations: Intermittent operation, full welding requires a 10–15 minute break for cooling, only suitable for thin plates up to 3mm.
2. 380V water-cooled five-in-one (industrial version)
  • Power Supply: Three-phase 380V industrial electricity for the factory, with stable high-power output;
  • Cooling: Dual temperature dual control water cooler, capable of supporting 24-hour uninterrupted full-load production;
  • Weight: 110–160kg, suitable for short-distance movement in the workshop and batch production at fixed positions;
  • Advantages: Stronger molten depth for thick plates, long-term continuous operation of energy storage pulse welding without power attenuation, suitable for new energy and heavy-duty sheet metal factories.

VI. Equipment Shortcomings
  • For precise energy storage welding, special welding nozzles need to be replaced and the system program needs to be switched. The process of function switching is slightly more complicated than that of the four-in-one model.
  • The air-cooled model does not support continuous thick plate processing throughout the day. The water-cooled model requires three-phase industrial electricity and regular replacement of circulating water as well as winter anti-freezing measures.
  • The purchase price for the same power is higher than that of the ordinary four-in-one model.
