PLC Controlled ISO Tank Rotator with Full Angular Adjustment, Position Tank Level, Tilted or Turned Over Without Re-fixturing

The whole machine adopts thickened Q355 low-alloy high-strength steel plate and an industrial heavy-profile integral welded structure. All load-bearing base, rotary ring body, support beam and fixed frame are processed with full-penetration deep welding technology. After welding, the entire machine undergoes high-temperature annealing stress relief treatment to completely eliminate welding internal stress and structural fatigue.

This rigorous industrial manufacturing process ensures ultra-high rigidity and overall stability under extreme working conditions such as 36-ton full-load operation, long-term tilt positioning and full inversion static locking. It effectively resists welding vibration, blasting impact, manual assembly torque and unbalanced load pressure, ensuring no shaking, no deformation and no displacement during long-hour industrial operation — providing a super-stable mechanical foundation for high-precision tank processing.

Unlike ordinary chain and belt drive rotators that are prone to slip and aging, this equipment adopts an integral large-diameter gear ring plus hardened hard-tooth surface reducer motor drive system. The gears achieve zero-backlash precise meshing, outputting stable and powerful constant torque.

The biggest core advantage of the gear drive is the all-angle mechanical self-locking function. Whether the tank is horizontal, tilted at any angle or fully inverted, the drive system automatically locks the position stably. During bolt tightening, gasket assembly, valve disassembly and high-intensity blasting operations, the tank body remains completely static without creeping, shifting or shaking. The fully enclosed structure is dust-proof, anti-fouling and anti-overload, perfectly adapting to harsh dusty and high-vibration workshop environments, with low failure rate and ultra-long service life.

Equipped with a precision linear sliding rail and high-strength self-locking bolt structure, the support span of the rotator can be freely adjusted according to the length of 20FT and 40FT ISO tanks. After rapid adjustment and locking, the multi-point symmetrical support structure evenly disperses the overall weight of the tank body, realizing balanced stress in horizontal, inclined and inverted states.

It completely avoids eccentric load, single-side tilt and rotary jitter caused by inconsistent support points. All load-bearing support rollers are wrapped with thick high-temperature integral vulcanized rubber layers. The soft-contact fitting structure perfectly fits the bottom frame of the ISO tank, avoiding hard metal rigid friction and collision.

It comprehensively protects the tank frame, paint surface, galvanized layer and structural accessories from scratches, extrusion deformation and paint peeling during rotation and multi-angle positioning. The high-friction special rubber surface provides strong anti-slip grip. Even in fully inverted and large-angle inclined working states, it firmly fixes the tank body to prevent sliding and displacement, effectively reducing tank asset damage and maintenance rework rate.

The machine is equipped with an industrial-grade PLC controller, high-precision rotary encoder and human-machine intelligent touch screen control panel. It supports arbitrary angle preset, fixed-point accurate stop, delayed static locking and automatic cycle rotation.

Workers can store commonly used working angles — such as horizontal maintenance angle, inclined drainage angle and inverted cleaning angle — for one-key recall and fast positioning. It supports automatic unattended cycle operation and reserves a manual jog fine-tuning mode for micro-angle precise correction, meeting the high-precision operation requirements of special old-tank deformation maintenance and complex flange overhaul. It standardizes workshop processing procedures and eliminates human operation errors.

A built-in advanced frequency conversion speed regulation device realizes 0.1RPM–1.0RPM full-range stepless speed adjustment. The ultra-low speed of 0.1–0.3RPM is used for slow and precise angle switching and accurate fitting positioning, effectively avoiding over-rotation and position deviation. The medium and stable speed is suitable for daily maintenance, cleaning and welding rotation, while the slightly higher speed improves efficiency for large-area sandblasting and paint stripping work.

The whole speed transition is smooth and shock-free without jitter and impact, which effectively protects the internal valves, sealing parts and welding lines of the tank from vibration damage, and ensures stable and consistent processing quality.

Aiming at the safety risks of multi-angle tank operation, the equipment is equipped with a complete set of industrial safety protection devices, including mechanical anti-tilting limit structure, electrical over-rotation limit protection, overload automatic power-off system and emergency stop braking device. The electrical control box adopts a fully sealed dust-proof and anti-corrosion design to adapt to complex workshop environments.

Dual mechanical and electrical safety protection automatically identifies abnormal load and over-rotation risks, cuts off power and locks the equipment in real time, fully ensuring the personal safety of operators and the asset safety of high-value tanks during all-angle processing.
