20ft & 40ft ISO Tank Turning Machine, Flexible 360° Positioning for Level, Tilted and Overturned Working Positions

The whole machine adopts a thickened Q355 low-alloy high-strength steel overall welded structure. All main load-bearing base, rotary ring frame, longitudinal beam and support carriage use a full-penetration deep welding process. After welding, the entire equipment undergoes high-temperature annealing stress relief treatment to completely eliminate welding internal stress, welding deformation and structural metal fatigue.

Unlike ordinary thin-welded frames on the market, this heavy-duty structure maintains ultra-high overall rigidity under extreme working conditions such as full-load weighing, long-term tilting and full inversion. It effectively resists unbalanced load torque, welding vibration, blasting impact and manual assembly force, ensuring no shaking, no displacement and no structural deformation during multi-angle positioning and long-time static maintenance. It provides the most stable mechanical foundation for high-precision tank processing.

The machine adopts an industrial heavy-duty integral gear ring plus hardened tooth surface reducer motor drive system, with zero-backlash precision meshing transmission. It outputs constant high torque and has inherent mechanical self-locking performance.

The biggest advantage of this gear drive is stable locking at any angle. Whether the tank is placed horizontally, tilted at 45°, 60° or any arbitrary angle, or fully inverted 180°, the drive system firmly locks the tank body without slipping, creeping or position offset. Even when technicians apply bolt torque, vibration force and cleaning impact force, the tank remains completely static.

Compared with easy-to-wear, easy-to-slip chain and belt drives, the fully enclosed gear transmission offers strong dust resistance, impact resistance and overload resistance. It runs stably for long periods in harsh environments such as dust, oil stain and humid workshops, with an extremely low failure rate and ultra-long service life.

A core practical design of this equipment is the sliding adjustable self-locking support mechanism. According to the length difference between 20ft and 40ft ISO tanks, the operator can freely adjust the front and rear support spacing along the precise linear guide rail and quickly lock it through high-strength hydraulic locking bolts.

After precise adjustment, the multi-point symmetrical support structure evenly distributes the full weight of the tank body, realizing balanced stress in horizontal, inclined and inverted states. It completely avoids eccentric load, unilateral sinking, tank shaking and rotary jitter caused by inconsistent support points.

The one-machine dual-purpose design eliminates the need to purchase separate rotators for different tank sizes, greatly saving workshop equipment investment, reducing floor occupation and optimizing production layout — ideal for maintenance yards with mixed 20ft and 40ft tank fleets.

All load-bearing support rollers adopt industrial high-temperature integral vulcanized thick rubber wrapping technology. The soft-contact fitting design perfectly fits the ISO tank bottom frame structure.

During multi-angle rotation and inverted static operation, it completely isolates hard metal rigid friction, effectively protecting the tank frame, galvanized layer, paint surface and structural accessories from scratch damage, extrusion deformation and paint peeling.

The high-friction special rubber formula provides superior anti-slip performance. Even in fully inverted and inclined large-angle states, it firmly grips the tank body to prevent sliding and displacement, greatly reducing tank asset damage and maintenance rework rate.

Built with an industrial dedicated PLC, high-precision rotary encoder and human-machine touch screen intelligent control terminal, the equipment supports full-angle programmable automatic operation.

Workers can freely preset any required working angle, delayed dwell time and automatic cycle rotation times. The equipment automatically rotates steadily to the target position and locks statically. It supports one-key memory of commonly used angles such as horizontal maintenance angle, drainage inclination angle and inverted cleaning angle, enabling one-key recall and fast positioning.

The system is equipped with a manual jog fine-tuning mode that realizes micron-level micro-angle correction to meet the precise positioning requirements of special old-tank deformation maintenance and complex flange overhaul. It completely eliminates human operation errors and standardizes tank processing quality.

Equipped with an advanced frequency conversion speed regulator, the rotation speed realizes 0.1RPM–1.0RPM full-range stepless adjustment.

The ultra-low speed of 0.1–0.3RPM is specially used for precise slow positioning during angle switching, avoiding over-rotation and position deviation, and ensuring safe and gentle switching from horizontal to tilted or inverted states. Medium and low speeds suit daily maintenance and cleaning rotation, while the appropriate higher speed improves efficiency for blasting and prefabrication work.

The whole speed transition is smooth and shock-free, with no jitter and no impact, effectively protecting the tank internal accessories, sealing parts and welding lines from vibration damage.

Aiming at the safety risks of tank tilting and inversion operation, the machine is equipped with a complete set of mechanical and electrical dual safety protection systems, including a mechanical anti-tilting limit device, electrical over-rotation limit sensor, overload automatic power-off protection, sudden-stop emergency braking system and sealed dust-proof electrical cabinet.

The system intelligently identifies unbalanced load and abnormal rotation, automatically cuts off power and locks the equipment to prevent overturning, over-rotation and falling accidents. It ensures 100% safety of operators and high-value tank assets during all-angle operation.
