The 10-ton heavy-duty welding positioner is a robust industrial rotary turntable engineered specifically for wear-resistant overlay welding, hardfacing and surfacing repair of large circular heavy workpieces. Equipped with a heavy-duty turntable and delivering consistent uniform rotation, this machine provides reliable heavy-load bearing capacity to meet demanding cladding processes for mining, petroleum and engineering machinery components.
Product Structure Design
At the heart of this equipment is a heavy-duty turntable built with extra-thick steel plate and reinforced rib structure. The faceplate is designed with multiple T-slots, allowing secure mounting of fixtures and clamping frames to firmly fix large flanges, roller sleeves, valve bodies and other circular workpieces.
The main base adopts an integrated welded rigid frame. After welding fabrication, the whole structure undergoes high-temperature stress relief annealing to eliminate internal stress. This treatment prevents frame deformation and ensures stable performance even under continuous full 10-ton load operation.
The drive system uses a high-torque heavy-duty planetary reducer matched with a variable frequency motor. It outputs powerful torque while maintaining smooth, uniform rotation without speed fluctuation. Stable rotation is critical for overlay welding: it ensures the welding wire deposits evenly across the workpiece surface, forming a consistent wear-resistant cladding layer, avoiding uneven thickness, welding skip and surface defects.
Control & Safety System
This positioner is equipped with an industrial PLC control system and touch screen interface. Operators can precisely adjust rotation speed, rotation direction and working cycle according to overlay welding process requirements. Both clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation are supported to adapt to different welding torch layouts.
A complete safety protection package is standard: overload torque protection, over-current shutdown and emergency stop buttons. When the load exceeds the rated 10-ton capacity or abnormal vibration appears, the system automatically stops operation to safeguard personnel and equipment. The electrical cabinet meets IP54 protection standard, resisting welding dust, splash and moisture in heavy industrial workshops.
